Today our friend Monika visited as planned. She is expecting a baby on New Years Eve, so wanted to visit while she could still fit behind the steering wheel, and delivered Christmas presents. Her son Milan was very happy playing with a basket of slippers and socks, folding them carefully and pulling all the socks on. He is very capable and can dress himself, and is talking all the time, and always laughing. It is amazing how developed his sense of humour is at such a young age.
Next time we see Monika will be after the birth of her baby, but we look forward to seeing them all soon in the new year.
